Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: I loved everything about the condo, but more specifically, I loved the full kitchen because I lived being able to cook my own meals and not have to go out every night. This leads me to the fact that this condo was close to EVERYTHING I needed. Walmart, Publix, and Walgreens were all pretty much within walking distance if I had chosen to walk. The Captains House is where I ate my fancy dinner one night, and it was just minutes away. The food and service were excellent. I had the Mahi and asparagus, a cup of she crab soup, and a classic mojito. They had hush puppies with dip, but I don't care for hush puppies. Back to my room. The balcony was a very nice size with comfortable chairs and a perfect ocean front view. It was a great place to have my morning coffee and watch the sun rise and a perfect spot to end the day and watch the sunset and watch the tide come in and go out and listen to how angry the ocean got before the storm. This leads me to the cozy blankets in the closet, which were perfect on the chilly mornings and evenings. I appreciated them being there. I didn't use the living room, but it was large but cozy. The bathroom was a good size, and the shower was also a garden tub. I don't do tubs, but I'm sure if you like garden tubs, the jet sprays in this one would've been very relaxing after sightseeing and sea shell searching. Lastly, the bedroom. The bed was a nice queen size , and there were 2 in the room. It was away from any possible noise, and I'll get to that next. The bed was extremely comfortable with tons of pillows, which I love and just the right amount of covers and, of course, the cozy blankets if I needed one. It had plenty of closet space and dresser drawer space. I would suggest that you bring some hangers if you have more hanging clothes than folding clothes. It had a nice size TV that could be seen from the bed with no problem and plenty of channels for anyone's viewing pleasure.
Negative: I hated the parking garage. There was only one way in, and one way out and people coming both ways did not care how fast they were going. The parking spaces were very narrow and yet close together. I'm so glad I drove my Ford Maverick Tremor and not my Ford F150 Platinum because it's huge and would've been very difficult for me to maneuver. I would've had to pay for valet parking just so I would not have to be the one to find a space on level 2 or higher. I also hated the constant smell of Marijuana that came through the bathroom vents, then through the air conditioning vents every night around 9pm, and well past midnight. Other than those 2 things, I have nothing else to complain about.
Summary: Forget the 5 star rating. It's an Olympic 10
